Logitech’s Technology Office has the mission of defining and implementing the company’s technology strategy. The group aims to bring state-of-the-art technologies and capabilities to Logitech’s R&D and business groups, and enable breakthrough innovations.

The Technology Office hosts a team of world-class scientists and engineers with expertise in computer science, robotics, human-machine interaction, cognitive sciences, machine learning and artificial intelligence. The activities of the group, based on the EPFL Innovation Park, Lausanne (Switzerland), span spatial computing, biosensing, immersive video and audio processing. We are looking for a talented AI/ML Engineer with domain expertise in Cognitive Sciences to lead our Biosensing exploration based on our own work and in collaboration with academic partners.

  • Design and implement advanced algorithms and AI models to process biosignal data, bringing new insights to Logitech’s technology ecosystem. 

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to prototype new applications, exploring the potential of human-centered technologies that support cognitive and sensory experiences.

  • Stay on the cutting edge of biosensing and cognitive science developments, applying best practices and emerging methods to create meaningful user solutions.

  • Contribute to a culture of innovation by sharing knowledge, driving research projects, and engaging in scientific and industry discussions.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

  • 5+ year of relevant work or academic experience in applied research in the field of biosignal processing (EEG, ECG, breathing, gaze, etc.)

  • Proven hands-on experience in signal processing development incl. DSP, AI, ML and Deep Learning techniques.

  • Experience in software development and prototyping incl. data acquisition frameworks (e.g. LSL, PsychoPy, etc.), GUI (e.g. PyQT) and Windows applications development.

  • General purpose programming languages including Python  and C/C++.

  • Knowledge of loss modeling, multimodal training, supervised, unsupervised and self-supervised learning.

  • Deep learning framework such as PyTorch or Tensorflow as well as ONNX models representation.

  • Authoring and peer review of scientific publications.

  • Experience in hardware design and development. Basic knowledge of material science and electronics.

  • Experience in scientific research and collaborations.

  • Keen interest in the field of human performance and wellbeing.

  • Pragmatic attitude, quick learner and ability to rapidly dive in new scientific fields.

  • Keen interest in people’s visual and interaction experiences.

  • Innovative, curious, self-starter & autonomous.

  • Desire to collaborate with internal peers and external partners.

  • Design, training and evaluation of deep neural networks
